Making L'Oréal USA's Centennial Anniversary a Celebration of Philanthropy and Innovation

L'Oréal USA wanted to use its centennial anniversary to communicate its commitment to philanthropy, innovation, its sustainable business model and the strength of its internal team.

Allison & Partners worked with the brand's internal PR and marketing team to heighten awareness of the brand's corporate story, briefing the media on how, for 100 years, L'Oréal has led the beauty industry with a rich history of innovation and product development, becoming the world's largest cosmetics group along the way.

The company marked its anniversary by expanding its annual employee volunteer day to multiple locations across eight states and over 60 countries with L'Oréal facilities. We also worked with the group to announce its “100 citizen projects” initiative, which engages international L'Oréal employees to launch ongoing philanthropic projects to benefit education, encourage self-esteem, and promote scientific research.

Allison & Partners worked with L'Oréal USA on national media relations to promote the centennial event and CSR effort, generating attendance from public officials at the company's generosity events and landing feature coverage in a virtual who's who of top-tier consumer, entertainment, blogs and online media outlets including Allure, InStyle, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, Town & Country, Today Show, Extra!, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Self, AOL Stylelist, Beauty News NYC,  Jolinenadine, Parents.com Goody Blog and more.
