Allison+Partners Further Strengthens Presence in Asia Pacific with New Offices in India and Australia

Allison+Partners today announced the addition of new outposts in India and Australia, expanding the agency’s footprint in Asia-Pacific to ten offices and bolstering its ability to provide services to clients across the region. Pranav Kumar has been appointed managing director in India, and Michelle Rovere is serving as managing director in Australia.

“Our expansion into India and Australia marks another important milestone for Allison+Partners’ ability to provide broad support for clients operating in Asia-Pacific and worldwide,” said Andy Hardie-Brown, Allison+Partners’ co-founder and global chief operating officer. “Pranav and Michelle are both seasoned marketing communications veterans with deep integrated experience, and are already adding tremendous value to our teams and clients.”

Pranav Kumar will oversee business growth and operations in India, while providing strategic client counsel to Allison+Partners India clients. He brings nearly two decades of communications experience, specializing in reputation and issues management, content marketing and digitally integrated campaigns. Prior to Allison+Partners, Kumar established Next Fifteen agency, Bite Communications’ India business in India as its managing director, eventually merging with sister agency, Text100. Pranav’s worked with a range of global and boutique agencies in leadership and client facing roles. Through his career, Kumar has worked with a myriad of leading brands including The Boeing Company, Rolls-Royce, Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), Motorola, Salesforce, Siemens and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, among others.

“As an agency that has already experienced remarkable success in Asia-Pacific, I am looking forward to continuing the momentum for Allison+Partners in India. With a talented team backed by an outstanding network, Allison+Partners is well-positioned to partner with India’s leading brands and multinational firms operating here for their communications remits”, said Kumar. “I’m looking forward to building awareness of our capabilities here and building a great business for the agency.”

Based in Sydney, Michelle Rovere will oversee business growth and operations in Australia along with providing in-market support to such clients as Pinterest, Rodan + Fields and ThoughtWorks. She is an expert in reputation and issues management, internal and external stakeholder communications and content development, and has spent more than 20 years developing marketing and communications programs for some of the world’s most recognized and respected technology and consumer lifestyle brands. Prior to joining Allison+Partners, Rovere founded two local consulting businesses and worked with several agencies including Burson-Marsteller, Hausmann Communications and Howorth Communications. She also held in-house public relations positions with IBM and Mars Petcare Australia.

“Allison+Partners’ one global P+L structure is a great benefit to clients, allowing us to bring the best talent to bare for clients regardless of location,” said Rovere. “We’ve already seen tremendous growth in the region, and I look forward to further strengthening existing relationships and exploring new opportunities for the agency.”
