Paul is responsible for growing Allison+Partners' Corporate Practice in Southern California and along the West Coast. He has nearly two decades of PR and marketing communications experience with specialties in B2B and consumer technology; financial and professional services; marketing services and small business services. At Allison+Partners, he provides senior level counsel and team guidance on B2B brand building; executive thought leadership; messaging and positioning; internal communications and employee engagement; and crisis communications.
Prior to joining Allison+Partners, Paul hired the firm twice as the global in-house communications leads at Nero and eHarmony.
Prior to client-side roles, he spent more than a decade at leading mid-size PR firms where he developed break-through communications programs for industry leaders and up-and-comers including Deloitte, Jiffy Lube International, the Lemelson-MIT Program, Napster, Nestle Waters North America, Novell, Philips Electronics and Toyota.
Paul has a BA from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communications and an MBA from Babson College.
What do you most value in your colleagues?
I value colleagues who are passionate about their work and are willing to go the extra mile to support the team. I also really value people who don't use "FYI" in their email subject lines.
What’s the most interesting thing that you do every week?
Attempting not to drop phone calls while maneuvering through the cellular dead zones on the 405 freeway.
Can you tell us something about you that might surprise most people who know you?
I used to be a drummer in a heavy metal band.
