What do you love about your job?
I love strategizing about campaigns. They're wildly unpredictable, unlike the rest of my life.
What was the best advice you ever received?
My maternal grandfather was everything from an insurance salesman to a taxi driver. He taught me that the most important thing in life is to be a mensch.
What was your most unusual job?
I was a dishwasher at the country club where they filmed Caddyshack. The job was everything that you would imagine it to be. Enough said.
Can you tell us something about you that might surprise most people who know you?
Neither of my parents went to college. I'm the first person in our family to earn a graduate degree.
What is your dream job (aside from the one you have now)?
Chief of Staff in the White House – I have a plan to make it happen!
