David Marriott is seasoned veteran whose 40-year career spans broadcast journalism, politics, corporate and agency public relations. He is broadly-recognized as an expert in crisis communications, and has provided strategic counsel on numerous highly-visible issues such as the crash of Alaska Airlines flight 261 and the Amanda Knox case.
Prior to his work at Gogerty Marriott, Marriott was an Emmy-winning television news reporter for Seattle’s CBS affiliate, KIRO-TV. He was also press secretary for former Seattle Mayor Wes Uhlman and has held several other senior corporate communications positions in the Pacific Northwest.
