Allison+Partners Expands European Footprint with Acquisition of Higher Ground Communications in Germany

June 07, 2016

Allison+Partners announced today that it has completed an asset purchase of Higher Ground Communications in Germany. Principles Martina MĪ‹ller and Vivian Dadamio will join as senior vice presidents to lead new Allison+Partners offices in Berlin and Munich respectively, and report to Matthew Della Croce, president of Europe and the global corporate practice.

“As one of the largest economies in the world, Germany has always been an important market for our clients. Martina and Vivian have already been providing in-market support to a number of our clients, and will continue to be invaluable assets as we diversify our capabilities and grow our client base more broadly across Europe,” said Della Croce. “Their wonderful cultural fit, strong strategic capabilities and client service track record made this a perfect alignment for Allison+Partners and Higher Ground.”

Founded in 2010, Higher Ground Communications is a communications and marketing firm that specializes in technology clients - both B2B and consumer. Allison+Partners has collaborated with Higher Ground on numerous projects over the past few years, supporting such international clients as Public Interest Registry, Rally Software and RetailMeNot.

Müller and Dadamio bring extensive experience in the technology sector, consulting such companies as SAP, Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft.

Müller previously worked at Porter Novelli as the European team lead for HP’s imaging and printing group, organizing international press events to educate media on HP’s new products. Müller also played an integral role in winning the Logitech account for the agency. Prior to that, she worked at Waggener Edstrom on the global team serving SAP in both Germany and the U.S.

“Working with Allison+Partners, we’ve been impressed by the quality of service they provide to clients, their diverse offering on a global platform and entrepreneurial spirit,” said Müller. “We look forward to helping them accelerate growth and achieve sustainable success.”

Dadamio previously led the B2B specialty group at Hill & Knowlton in Munich, where she drove communications efforts for HP’s enterprise business and networking unit in Germany and raised awareness for the company’s CSR programs focused on diversity. She also spent time at Waggener Edstrom, working on the global team for SAP and driving their media relations program in Germany.

Prior to that, she worked in-house in the marketing department of Bausch & Lomb Surgical, where she supported internal and external communications.

“The agency’s unique, one global P+L structure is a true benefit to clients,” said Dadamio. “This, coupled with the value Allison+Partners places on maintaining a positive work culture, makes it very exciting to join the growing European team.”
